How long does eyebrow tinting last?
We advise that the HD Brows tint can last from 2 – 4 weeks. However, there are so many factors to consider and the eyebrow tint won’t last the same on everyone. This can be down to several things, but a major one is hair type. Some hair will hold the pigment longer resulting in longer lasting results. Meanwhile, some hairs won’t absorb the pigment as much resulting in the colour fading quicker.
Products you use can affect how long tint lasts
Your cleansing routine can also affect the tint. If you use a strong cleanser or apply skin care products to the brow area this can result in the tint fading slightly sooner due to the active ingredients. Be sure to apply facial cleansers and creams carefully around the brow area.
Your skin can also be a factor
Your skin type can also affect the durability of the tint. Someone with a more oily complexion might find the tint will fade sooner. But that doesn’t mean it’s better for those with dry skin either! If you suffer with drier skin and use a rich moisturiser, this could also result in the tint fading. Again, when applying a moisturiser try to go around the brows rather than through or keep any product in there to a minimum.
With all this said, your tint should last up to 4 weeks. Many clients comment on how they the HD Brows tint lasts longer and they find there is very little fading of colour between appointments. To find your nearest HD Brows Stylist and experience this for yourself, head to our salon finder.
