Last week our Co-Founder and CEO, Nilam Holmes-Patel, won the SME Business Award at the Celebrating Yorkshire Woman in Business Awards 2016.
With guest speakers such as the managing director of Barclays, Leeds West Labour MP, Rachel Reeves and the CEO of a popular fashion brand, the aim of the awards event was to promote and encourage gender diversity in the workplace, after recognising a lack of females in senior roles across their organisation.
Other nominees in the SME Business Award category included a host of successful females who have started their own companies in everything from childcare, to hotels and cleaning.

We are a female driven business, and we aim to inspire women in the industry helping them to start and progress in their own careers, mentoring them at each stage. With over 20 years’ experience in the beauty industry as a brow stylist, Nilam now has an army of A-list clients around the world.
From launching HD Brows in 2008, it has gone on to develop a continually expanding make up range, a full offering of training courses, covering brows, make up, nails and anatomy and physiology as well as opening high street Boutiques across the UK.
