The A/W 2019 fashion week shows have come to an end and we now know what looks we’ll be rocking later this year.
Dig out those dark lipsticks and get the glitter at the ready – here’s the autumn/winter beauty trends you need to know about.

Glitter Lids
This autumn, glitter is here to make a statement. Chunky flecks of glitter cover the lid for the ultimate festive party look. Halpern and Dries Van Noten paired down the rest of the make up to give this bold look a wearable spin.

Blue is the New Black
Yes, that’s right. Blue is back. Forget the blue eyeshadow of your teen make up disasters; it’s had a cool, grungey makeover, as seen on the catwalks of House of Holland and Marques Almeida.

All Out Red
A one-toned beauty look is set to be big this year, with brick red being the colour of choice for the likes of Chloe, Kate Spade and Oscar De Le Renta. Keep nails and lips the same colour, with a subtle hint of the same tone on the eyes for a look straight off the runway.

Mid Century Glam
Ryan Lo took things back to the 1950s with soft, bouncy curls by top hairdresser Sam McKnight. MUA Tabitha Thomas teamed this with fresh skin and ultra-fluttery lashes to give this retro look a modern, wearable finish.

Sunset Eyes
If the Alice Archer and Pringle of Scotland shows were anything to go by, warm toned shadows aren’t going anywhere next season. Softly blend hues of red, orange and pink and pair with full lashes and brushed up brows for an on-trend look.
