Want to work out and still look cute? Who doesn’t! Whilst bare faced may be best, wearing a little something never hurt anybody. Here’s what top MUA, Rachael Keeley, recommends.

Brows

First things first, your brows. You always feel better when your brows are done, so for gym purposes I’d recommend our Brow Colourfix. It’s the perfect product to sweep onto your brows, coat the hairs with colour and keep them in place. It’ll frame your face and keep you looking put together whilst remaining natural.

Eyes

Just a lashing of mascara will do the trick if you can’t leave the house lash-free. Waterproof is budge-proof, so is sure to last through a tough workout.

Lips

Sweep on a layer of the SOS Balm and go! Doing this will not only keep your lips hydrated and soothed in this cold weather, you’ll also get a glossy effect too. Bonus!

Face

Foundation can be too heavy for the gym. If you can, embrace your skin. Be bold and go au naturel, as this will help stop your pores from clogging when you’re working hard. Still, some days you just don’t want to go out into the world bare-faced. If needed, use a foundation or concealer to spot-correct just where it’s needed.

The key is to not over do it with lots of products; keep it light and minimal. It’s best to thoroughly wash your face clean post-workout to be sure that dirt, oil, sweat and bacteria don’t settle into your pores. Make sure you have a full cleanse and tone routine when you get home to really look after and get the best out of your skin.
