We all have one common goal – to provide revolutionary beauty treatments, world-class training and innovative products – so it made perfect sense for all four brands to officially join forces. We’d like to introduce you to the Nouveau HD Beauty Group.
Who are the brands in the Nouveau HD Beauty Group?
We’re proud to be part of a group made up of such amazing, industry-leading brands, but who are we working with? Nouveau Lashes have provided game-changing lash treatments since 2005, including the iconic LVL lash lift system.
K.B Pro is the unrivalled authority on permanent make up and microblading, while Nouveau Skin Therapy is home to some of the most innovative skin treatments on the market, with a focus on natural and scientific developments in skin rejuvenation, such as the A-Lift nano current facial and Dermatude Meta Therapy.
Karen has decided to bring us all together as one beauty group so that we can work collaboratively and, more importantly, provide all of you with an even better service and support.
Who is Karen Betts?
The Nouveau HD Beauty Group is led by Karen Betts, an esteemed permanent make up artist and entrepreneur.
Karen’s journey began over 20 years ago when she opened a beauty salon in Yorkshire. Renting out a room to a tattoo artist, Karen soon realised that permanent make up could be life changing. One of Karen’s close friends at the time was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent chemotherapy and a double mastectomy. After watching her friend’s confidence decline, Karen recreated her brows and areola using a tattoo machine. With the desire to transform other people’s lives, Karen travelled to America and trained in permanent make up.
After she returned from America, Karen pioneered permanent makeup in the UK; she is one of few artists in the UK recognised by the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals in the USA. Karen is passionate about elevating the industry standards in microblading and permanent make up treatments.
She opened her own professional clinic and award-winning training academies to broaden the accessibility of these treatments.

Expertise, passion and dedication has pushed Karen to the forefront of the industry, where she has received numerous awards. Crowned Woman of The Year at the NatWest Everywoman Awards in 2014 (in recognition of her achievements as an entrepreneur), Karen was described by the judging panel as ‘phenomenal’. Karen recently added the Micropigmentation UK Lifetime Achievement Award 2018 to her growing list of accolades, as well as The Safety In Beauty Diamond Awards 2017.
2018 was a monumental year for Karen, as one of the brands was recognised on a global scale, receiving The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade 2018. She has also won the English Hair & Beauty Permanent Makeup Specialist of the Year 2018, receiving yet another prestigious award in recent years for her continued success.
