What does your average working day consist of?
Every day is different, which is one thing I love about it. After checking my emails and catching up with the rest of the HD Brows team, I’ll start on my jobs for the day. These can range from organising photo or video shoots, discussing plans with our stand designer for trade shows, looking at new packaging for products or reviewing and approving our social media and advertising campaigns. I’ll also spend time catching up with my brilliant team who look after events, PR, social media, hdbrows.com, analytics, branding, product development, packaging, design, advertising… We have a lot to talk about!
What has been your proudest moment since working at HD Brows?
Launching Make Up by HD Brows in March 2014. So much time and effort went into the development of the range, so to finally launch it alongside the new branding and campaign, and to see it be so well received, was brilliant. Opening up Elle and Cosmopolitan and seeing what you have been working on in print is such a great feeling.
What is your go to product from the Make Up by HD Brows range?
This is such a hard question as the entire range is so good. I love applying the Fluid Foundation in 001 Ivory with the Buffer Brush – you get such a flawless finish (plus it’s so quick and easy to do – my type of make up application!) The brushes are beautiful too – I add to my collection every month.
How do you wear your brows?
I have quite dark, bold brows naturally, so I don’t tend to put much make up on them. If I’m doing a full face of make up I just add a bit of Brow Colourfix in Vamp to enhance them. For a natural look during the day, I just add a slick of Brow Beater to keep them in place.
